Integrated management system
Klubert + Schmidt is committed to uncompromising quality and environmental protection. In order to live up to this standard, all company departments work together closely. Only in this way can process sequences be realised smoothly and in an environmentally friendly way. Certification according to DIN ISO 9001 and the implementation of an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001, in connection with the HSE department, represent our integrated management system.
Klubert + Schmidt introduced quality management in accordance with ISO 9001. The effectiveness of the QM system is regularly established through certified institutions. The management system is recertified every 3 years and is reviewed annually in monitoring audits. The quality management system is used actively in order to uncover and prevent potential for error through an effective design and process organisation.
In 2004 Klubert + Schmidt introduced an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. The effectiveness of the environmental management system was proven in the audit carried out by LGA InterCert. Annual internal and external audits show that an effective management system has been set up which is sustainable, and will be constantly developed further. The environmental management system is already actively used in order to guarantee efficient handling of raw materials and avoid non-reusable waste.
Health and safety at work
The areas of health management and health and safety at work are of central importance at Klubert + Schmidt and represent an essential part of the company’s policy. All employees contribute jointly to making this important subject an active part of the company and ensure that the applicable guidelines are observed. In so doing, they are supported by health and safety specialists and the responsible safety officers. The compliance with all legal requirements, including in the area of occupational health and safety is regularly checked within the framework of annual internal and external audits.
Because we feel an obligation to handle our resources carefully, in December 2015 we carried out an energy audit and passed it successfully. To do this, relevant data from different areas were drawn upon, which were already established in different projects in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Project Group Process Innovation of the University of Bayreuth.
